Have you ever had an experience that you cannot forget even if you want to? Traveling is all about making memories and experiences, whether they are serene or disappointing. We have such real stories for you all to read. These experiences might give you goosebumps or leave you with nostalgia.

Miracles amidst the dark:
1) Do you believe in angels? Or miracles? This is a story of four men who forgot their way back from Kedarnath. They were stuck in jungle at midnight. One or two hours later they saw a hut, which is very bizarre because finding a hut in the middle of the jungle where there was nothing except for darkness is scary in itself. They had no choice but to go and check if someone was there. There was a man living with his dog. He asked them to stay at his place for the night because it could be dangerous to move further at that time. However, all four of them were frightened to stay at a stranger’s place. So, the owner of the hut told his dog to help them get out of the jungle. All four of them followed the dog and whenever they used to sit to take a break, the dog had barked at them. Around three hours later, they reached the destination, and the dog disappeared that very moment. This was a miracle for all of them because Kedarnath has a crazy way and getting lost at such a place can end up really dangerous. The most interesting part is where the dog disappeared. There are so many questions that they still have but cannot get answers to.
2) This is a story about seven people who took the road less travelled when they were going to Lansdowne, a town in Uttarakhand. They lost their way in the middle of the night. It was around 2 AM in the night, when they saw a man wearing all white clothes on a bench. They asked him the way out of the labyrinth. However, they were a bit suspicious about the way he told them because it was too dark, and it is strange to find someone sitting in the middle of the road. They had no choice but to follow the path he showed them which to their relief, brought them out of the problem. There were a few more people who were stuck behind, so they called them and told them the way out. Then on call, they said that it is very commonly heard that there are some bad spirits and good spirits that live in the hills. So, there is a spirit, who is known by the name of Golu Dev, that tells the right path to those who get lost in the middle of the road. It was very scary for those people who followed the path that spirit had told them because it could have been dangerous as well.
3) Have you ever experienced the phase between death and life? This is a real-life story that will make you feel it. This is an incident that happened with an uncle living in my neighborhood. He was coming back from a village, and it was around 11 PM in the night. So, there was no transport to go back. Then a man came on bike and uncle asked him if he can drop him to the destination. The man agreed to give him the lift. They were almost there, and everything was going fine till he noticed his feet. The man’s feet were in the opposite direction. Uncle tried to stay as calm as he could. The man dropped uncle at the destination. Uncle was highly traumatized with what happened to him. He was hospitalized for a week due to the trauma. What is more miraculous is that the man actually dropped him off at the destination.
These were some of the experiences that people in my known have faced while traveling. You do not just travel to give yourself a break, sometimes tragedies you face while traveling can bring you to another part of the world. I am quite sure you must have faced something like this, at least once in your journey. If not spooky, then something adventurous.
