Every place has its own beauty. No matter wherever you go there’s something special about every place.

COVID-19 made traveling difficult in many aspects and one such is the restrictions imposed by different countries or places for travelers. Governments of different countries have imposed some requirements like wearing of masks and getting vaccinated, these two are the most obvious one but the main one is isolation time period.

While it was a necessity to isolate yourself for 10 days earlier, now the requirements have changed depending upon the spread of covid or covid cases of places. We also should keep in mind that there’s no constant data of COVID anywhere, one never knows when and where the cases might increase or decrease, so will the requirements, restrictions and precautions change.

We must check thoroughly the number of cases of the place where we go. Even after taking care of all the things, you might have to stay in isolation for longer than expected due to unexpected events and it might affect your planning. But it’s important to not get disheartened and be happy with the fact that at least you are able to travel safely.

There are different measures taken in different countries to prevent the spread of COVID-19, every country has imposed certain restrictions for travelers which are to be kept in mind before you start your journey. Many countries have banned direct flights from countries with large number of cases.

If we take an example of The United States, before boarding a flight to The United States, you are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel, although children under 2 years old do not need to test. There is also an option for people who have documented recovery from COVID-19 in the past 90 days.

Similarly, if you are traveling to Canada, Rapid tests which were previously not accepted are now allowed but you are still supposed to be fully vaccinated. In order to consider valid, rapid tests must be approved by country the traveler is traveling from and must be taken within 24 hours of flight departure or scheduled arrival at a land border. Travelers who have recently recovered can instead show a positive COVID-19 test result from 11 to 180 days prior to arrival.

In order to make your travel journey a memorable one and a lot safer one it is important to keep everything in mind and follow all the safety measures. Traveling during the pandemic for sure is hectic but if you love traveling then what can stop you? You can have all the fun and still be safe!
