While traveling, we sometimes forget that we need to take care of ourselves by eating healthy, staying hydrated, taking care of our skin according to the weather condition of the place, etc. So here I’m going to talk about things to keep in mind while traveling, so you can keep yourself healthy while traveling and enjoy your trip to the fullest.

When you are away from home you are prone to eat all kinds of unhealthy food, sometimes for all the meals of the day. So be cautious with what you choose to eat. Prefer don’t to do overeating. Practice “HARA HACHI BU” it is a Japanese practice that means to eat until you’re 80 percent full. Here are some ideas on choosing wisely what to eat while traveling while keeping health in mind.
1. WATCH WHAT YOU EAT- While traveling we tend to eat all kinds of junk and street food as we want to try a new dish for every meal but that might not be a very good idea. So always be cautious what you eat because what you are eating today might hurt tomorrow morning, IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW.
2. NEVER MISS BREAKFAST- As our elders used to say “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” that thing should also be followed while traveling. Don’t skip out and go straight to lunch. If you don’t want to eat out for breakfast because you’ll be eating out for lunch and dinner, MAKE YOUR OWN BREAKFAST. It’s very easy to go out to the near market and to buy cereal or oatmeal from there for breakfast. That will be very healthy for you and keep your tummy filled until your next meal.
3. STAY ACTIVE- As we people tend to eat and just go back to the room for resting or for a “power nap” rather try to resist it and go for walks as it is healthy for you and will keep you active. Enjoy the day by going out rather than just staying in the room binge eating and watching television. Rather go in open for some fresh air and enjoy the weather.
Vacations are for sightseeing and visiting famous places, you can go for the quest of your hidden gem that you can suggest to your family and friends. People tend to get lazier when on vacations as they are away from their homes and away from the stress of work. But from the above points, I want people to enjoy their vacations to the fullest having food while keeping health in mind.
