No matter what always keep a water bottle with yourself whenever you go out. It is possible that the place you visiting the water there doesn’t suit you, so prefer to buy bottled water from the nearest store. Staying hydrated is very important for the body. If you don’t drink enough water, you may become dehydrated. This means your body doesn’t have enough fluid to operate properly. Avoid alcohol and all kinds of energy drinks as they contain a huge number of calories. So here are some ideas on how to stay hydrated during your outing.

1. HYDRATED THROUGHOUT THE VACATION- it’s easy to lose track of total water consumption when out sightseeing or having some drinks with your family or friends. So, keep one water bottle all the time with you and drink water even if it is not convenient to have a restroom when traveling. Make sure you drink 1-2 glasses of water in every two hours.

2. AVOID ALCOHOL WHILE TRAVELLING- Try to avoid alcohol when travelling in train or in a flight especially when you are travelling alone because you will be needing to be in full focus and in your senses.

3. CUT DOWN ON ALCOHOL AND ENERGY DRINKS- We all drink more than we usually drink when we are on a trip, yes you are away from home so it’s obvious that you want to enjoy one or two extra drinks- but here catch is to drink moderately as alcohol disrupts your sleep and you know HOW HANGOVERS CAN GET!! Energy drinks contain a lot of calories, try to control your calories and sugar intake.

Cold drinks are easily available, and people tend to have them as a way of getting hydrated, that’s a bad idea that you will get from the above points. Many apps give you notifications or an alarm ring to remind you to have water. The app is a nice idea for those who regularly forget to have water. One App that I use is- Water Reminder-Daily Track.
